Handing Over Ceremony

The long-awaited day has finally soon up. The end of a strengthening journey both physically and mentally. Congratulations comrades and thank you all that have encouraged us and taken us through this period of hardship. For today, we match with our souls pouring out on the parade grounds, we drilled time and time again. A step at a time, resounding the unheard echoes of our united hearts, saying, "We the senior's cadets happily hand over the paved path to our successors."                     Oh! The lovely musical sound of African drums and trumpets that comforted us at all time. Today is by far the most enjoyable day in the REGIONAL MARITIME UNIVERSITY.    New article  (chart work for deck officers)

The potential effects of the closure of the Suez Canal on World Trade

A satellite image shows the cargo ship Ever Given stuck in the Suez Canal on Sunday. (Planet Labs Inc.)   The Suez Canal is an artificial sea-level waterway in Egypt, connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea through the Isthmus of Suez and dividing Africa and Asia. The canal enables more direct shipping between Europe and Asia, eliminating the need to circumnavigate Africa and cutting voyage times by days or weeks. The Suez Canal has been considered, since its establishment in 1869, as the most important artery and waterway for world trade between East and West. It is the most important waterway for moving petroleum between the production sources and consumption markets. In other words, one of the most significant maritime “shortcuts” ever built. It brought a new era of European influence in Pacific Asia by reducing the journey from Asia to Europe by about 6,000 km by skipping a detour around the Cape of Good Hope. Britain benefited the most from the construction o

Care Over All

The saying "A true act of goodwill always sparks another" has become "A true act of goodwill will always bring you more profit" due to Covid-19. Humans have proven that, when things get tough for everyone, they throw away their conscience and tend to take advantage of others either rich or poor to make themselves richer. This drive has led  many countries and even continents into a strike of poverty. Not long ago, politicians and their political parties, common businessman and women, even students have benefited from this unexpected pandemic. The price of life, in general, has couples and even tripled in some zones. For instance, a student who used to pay his school fees at 4.5 cedis per dollar πŸ’° is now paying 5.5 cedis... It might not be much money to the super-rich kids but to a mongrel, it's just too much money. That's not all, for another example drinking water was base on the quality and quantity of the product.  It's no more the case these days. S

The Story Of How I Became A Seafarer

KUKU is my name. I am 34 years old with dual nationality. I leave with my grandma. Life has been very hard for us since my parents died in a car accident. To survive, I hard to do mundane deeds to many people, just to eat and sustain my grandma. Although I studied till high school it was near to impossible to find a suitable job; as boss just cares about how much you bring them without caring of the damage they cause you. The is nothing holy or glorious about my story. Two years later my grandma passed away and I was left all alone. It was funny at first to realize how hopeless, I was at the moment. As the saying goes, when the world turns you back on you, you turn your back on the world. So I stood and wiped up my tears and envision myself rich in a mini-mansion at least. The next day, I decided to sell the family house, I inherited from my parents to start a business. At the Real estate company, I visited that day, I meet a long line of people who also came to trade. Among those peop

New Sunday

Today was an occasional Sunday. I never actually expected it. A period where COVID-19 could not be used as a contradiction and a rule for people not to come out from their luxurious homes. The Regional Maritime University, is one of the greatest maritime academies in Africa has imported policies that legalize and clean the Coronavirus and allow each individual even outside to assist on normal church activities like the hiring of the services and preaching of the sermon. Nevertheless, I had a pleasant Sunday with Christian members that fellowship with me. I just want to say thank you for it was quite an entertaining and inspiring event. Fellowshipping with pastor favor with the book rhapsody of the reality of LoveWorld by Christ embassy.

Welcome Back Comrades

The reopening πŸ‡¨πŸ‡²πŸ‡¬πŸ‡²πŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ‡±πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡± It is a new day, it's a new life... As of January, most marine academies around the world were given a green card of access by their respective country president which came well with a lot of rules concerning the vitality and safety of both the student and civilians involved. As for Africa as a whole, symptoms of the COVID-19 virus have been more of talk and no see. We can say the nation as a whole is doing a pretty great job. Some rumors claim that the newly installed 5G system cuz this pandemic due to the installation side effects of the radiative waves; the world as you know can't be destroyed by mere tricks but, that doesn't mean your world is. Politic is a field of pride and conning people who play a game of what-ifs. It's indeed cruel when the effects aren't in favor of the innocent; who decided that? For in a world such as this one, the strong devour the weak to gain more strength. In other words, imagine, I own a company (A

MERRY CHRISTMAS πŸ‡¨πŸ‡²πŸ‘‘πŸ€΄πŸ‘‘πŸ‡¨πŸ‡²

Dear, comrades, ladies and gentlemen,                                                   I greet you all. We from the kingcadet association wish to say thank you for this year of confidence. You might not have done anything good or have ever read any of our posts. But, We still want to say, THANK YOU . It's been hard trying to grow this site without proper knowledge of how to do it but we are fairing well.  The world is not a peaceful place as you know. People who are not been heard try to make some noise so they can be heard as well as those sitting on the pitch of attention ( influencer ); so they claim.                                                   We have learned to grow even though the world doesn't know about our existence. Just as you. We have not given up on our ambition to become the greatest Organisation in the world one day. We have set goals and each day breaking the seal that restrains our growth and now, we are one of the strongest. Not because, we have mone

The Difference Between Spending Money And Enjoying Money As A Marine

Through 10 years of research and experience, I have seen that spending money and enjoying it are not quite the same as most people say there are! Far back, when I was still a teenager. I used to spend money on toys, video games, lotto, and so on just for my pleasure. At this stage of my life, all I had to do was to ask and I was given. Yeah! A Period of constant enjoyment. But as you know, not all good things come easy. My parents sent me to a maritime academy. So I can one day put food on my table.     Two years have passed since then. I had to live with a student salary instead of a king's. So I decide to change my way of life and adapt to a standard that suited my present environment. OMG! It was hard as hell but fun. For instance, Back at the mall, either on a Friday or Saturday, I went to take a stroll. I met a bunch of people all dressed in some kind of #Wakanda, #Korea, #latina, #sexy What!!! Well as I said, they move into groups like friends compared to me. I was all

In it, We learn the ability to share, the ability to communicate, the ability to refuse bribe and accept faults, the ability to understand someone's pain and guilt, most of all the ability to work a
